This page explains how Tradies Online uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and apps.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things about your visit (for example, that you accepted a notice) and help the site owner understand how visitors use the site.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and cannot be turned off. They do not store any information that personally identifies you and are not used for analytics or marketing.
- Consent preference (
tradies-online-consent) — remembers whether you accepted analytics cookies. Stored locally for 12 months. - Authentication — when you log into the app, Supabase sets cookies required to keep you signed in. Session lifetime.
Analytics (consent required)
Used to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it. Set only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner.
- PostHog — anonymised page views, feature usage, and aggregated session metrics. PostHog runs in “cookie-less” mode where possible and respects Do Not Track signals.
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the button below, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics events from being captured, but does not delete events already recorded.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so will not affect our marketing site but may prevent you from staying logged into the app.
