These terms govern your use of Tradies Online (“the Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.

The service

Tradies Online provides software that helps tradespeople publish content, send invoices, request reviews, and manage a website from a single workflow. The Service is provided by Alex Kilby, sole trader, based in the United Kingdom.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
One account per business; sharing a single account across separate businesses is not permitted.

Free trial and subscription

New accounts include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at the price of the plan you selected (Core or Website).
Subscriptions renew monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. You may cancel at any time from the in-app settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT where applicable.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Upload content that is defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that you do not have permission to publish.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
Use the Service to send spam or to misrepresent another person or business.

Your content

You retain ownership of any photos, voice recordings, text, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and publish that content solely to provide the Service to you (for example, to post it to your connected social accounts or include it on your generated website).

Connected accounts

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, or other external accounts, you authorise us to publish content on your behalf within the scopes you approve. You may disconnect any account at any time from the in-app settings.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may schedule maintenance, deploy updates, or temporarily suspend the Service for reasonable operational reasons.

Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Tradies Online or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you, except for a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service while your subscription is active.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties (including fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, and non-infringement). Generated content (captions, invoice wording, review responses) should be reviewed by you before publication.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability arising in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that puts our infrastructure or other customers at risk. On termination, you may export your data within 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
